I need to start this review by saying the following: I do NOT read vampire books and I do NOT read romance novels. However, this book grabbed me from the start and I could not pull myself away from reading it. When I was not reading it, I was thinking about it. Wondering what was going to happen next. I loves this SO much and I cannot wait for the next instalment.

When I first started the book, I was really not expecting much as it is definitely not my preferred genre of book. But once I started, I could not stop. 

It took about 5 pages for me to get used to the writing style. It is not like most the authors I usually read. However, the style used to convey the emotions of the characters really grew on me. There are some authors that write very poorly . . . I will read a chapter, put the book down and leave it. This is definitely NOT one of those.

I loved this book so much. It was suspenseful and exciting whilst still dealing with a depth of emotions.

Really really incredible job on this book! I would read it again, refer it to others and I crave the next book. (Lindsay Leigh)
